STUDIO RULES AND REGULATIONS

Please arrive between 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled class start time. Please note that if you arrive late, waitlisted members will be given your spot in class, the studio doors will be locked, and it will be considered a no-show.

For all heated classes, the studio will be set to 85-95 degrees. Coastal Movement will supply a water refill station in the studio for water bottle refills. 

‍‍All clients are required to wear grip socks for class for safety and hygienic concerns. Coastal Movement reserves the right to remove you from class if you do not comply.

Phone calls and text messaging while participating in class is prohibited for your safety.

All members must be at least 18 years of age and sign the Coastal Movement, LLC release form to book and attend in-studio classes. Any client under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for their first class and the parent or guardian must sign a waiver in person on the client’s behalf.  

At all times, you shall comply with all stated and customary terms, rules, and verbal instructions given to you by your instructor. Our ultimate goal is to provide a safe environment for everyone!  

Classes and instructor assignments are subject to change without notice. Please use the Coastal Movement app and check the schedule for any and all updates.

Coastal Movement is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings while you are present in the studio or attending a class. You assume all risk of loss for any of your personal belongings.‍

PURCHASE POLICY

Coastal Movement only accepts credit/debit cards and ACH payments, we do not accept cash payments. 

Pricing is subject to change without notice. All sales are final for all class credits, class packages, monthly memberships, apparel, merchandise and gift cards purchases. All class packages are non-transferable and non-refundable; there are no exceptions. All classes must be prepaid. You will not be able to confirm or waitlist for a class without a credit in your account.

The expiration date will be noted on your purchase receipt for your records.  Coastal Movement will not be held liable for any bank overdraft fees.

MONTHLY MEMBER CANCELLATION & FREEZE POLICY

Monthly Memberships require an initial commitment of three monthly payments, without the option to freeze or cancel. No exceptions will be made. After the first 3 months, you may cancel your monthly membership agreement with written notice to Coastal Movement at any time with a 7 day notice, without incurring any additional fees or penalties. Canceling your membership within the first 3 months will result in a $99 early cancellation fee. Memberships are billed on a monthly recurring basis on the day of the initial purchase and are not eligible for a refund once processed. Membership classes do not roll over and must be used within each month. 

You may freeze your membership with at least 7 days notice for a fee of $15. Memberships may be paused or "frozen" for 30, 60 or 90 days per year for a fee of $15 per 30 days. Each 30 days of “frozen” membership will include 1 class credit that will expire after the 30 days if not used.

CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICY

You must be physically present at the start of your scheduled class or your spot may be given to a standby or waitlisted client. If you are a first-time client to Coastal Movement, you must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your class. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

All confirmed classes must be changed or canceled on the Coastal Movement website or app by a minimum of 12 hours in advance to the start of class to retain your class credit or avoid any fees. Coastal Movement does not manage cancellations on behalf of any members or clients. Waitlisted classes can be canceled anytime when on the waitlist. Once you are off the waitlist and confirmed in the class, the confirmed class cancellation policy shall apply.

LATE CANCELLATION/ NO SHOW

All Membership packages and Class packages are subjected to Late Cancellation or No Show automatic penalty charges. A “Late Cancellation” (reservation canceled within 12 hours of class start time) will result in a $15 fee for members or a loss of class credit for single bookings or class packages. A “No Show” (failing to attend a booked class) will result in a $20 fee for members or a loss of credit for single bookings or class packages. All “no-show” and “late cancel” fees will automatically be charged to your credit card on file. Coastal Movement reserves the right to update these policies and terms at any time.‍

PHOTOGRAPHY/ VIDEO & LIABILITY RELEASE 

For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, I, the undersigned, agree as follows:

I, the Participant, hereby affirm that I am in good physical condition and do not suffer from any mental or physical disability which would prevent or limit my voluntary participation in training with an employee (fitness instructor) at Coastal Movement, LLC. I acknowledge and agree that the workouts are a recreational activity and may involve strenuous physical activity including, but not limited to stretches, lifts, use of props, strenuous bodyweight exercises and other strenuous activities that I am not obliged to perform, nor am I obliged to participate in any activity that I do not wish to do, and that it is my right to refuse such participation at any time during classes. I understand that there are inherent risks in all aspects of physical exercise and I acknowledge that I am aware of the possible strenuous nature of such activities.

I further agree that any advice or information provided by Coastal Movement, LLC or its employees is simply an option that I have to verify and consult about with a medical provider of my choice. I confirm that prior to my participation I have no health problems (including without limitation cardiac irregularities; spinal or bone, joint, tendon or ligament injuries; spells of dizziness; asthma (or other breathing difficulty); diabetes, epilepsy or any allergy) which may affect my participation in any classes or sessions at Coastal Movement, LLC. Participants with low/high blood pressure and/or cardiac irregularities should not attend class. I also understand that if I am a prenatal or postnatal participant, I must consult with my physician and receive clearance to perform physical exercise. 

By signing this agreement, enrolling online, and/or attending classes, events, and other Coastal Movement, LLC programs whether online, in a studio or using Coastal Movement, LLC equipment, I hereby acknowledge and agree, on behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representatives and/or assigns that (a) there are certain inherent risks and dangers in the strenuous nature of Coastal Movement, LLC’s workout program (b) I have voluntarily chosen to participate in an intense physical exercise program and I have been fully informed of the strenuous nature of this exercise program and the possibility of adverse physiological occurrences including, but not limited to: abnormal blood pressure, fainting, heart attack or death. I assume all risk for my health and well-being, and fully release and hold harmless for any responsibility, cost or damages Coastal Movement, LLC, instructors, independent contractors, clients and employees for any injury, harm or loss I may suffer, including death, as a result of participation in any Coastal Movement, LLC activities. 

I/We agree to be photographed, recorded and videotaped by Coastal Movement, LLC and its agents (“Company”) in connection with my participation in Coastal Movement, LLC classes.

I/We permit Coastal Movement, LLC and its affiliates to use, copyright, publish, reproduce, exhibit, transmit, broadcast, televise, digitize, display, otherwise use, and permit others to use, (a) my name, image, likeness, and voice, and (b) all photographs, recordings, videotapes, audiovisual materials, writings, statements, and quotations of or by myself (collectively, the “Materials”), in any manner, form, or format whatsoever now or hereinafter created, including on the Internet, and for any purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising or promotion of Company, its affiliates, or their services, without further consent from or payment to me.

It is understood that all of the Materials, and all films, audiotapes, videotapes, reproductions, media, plates, negatives, photocopies, and electronic and digital copies of the Materials, are the sole property of Company. I hereby waive any right to inspect and approve the photographs or videos or the printed/digital/electronic matter that may be used in conjunction with them now or in the future, regardless of whether that use is known or unknown. I hereby forever release and discharge Company, its employees, licensees, agents, successors, and assigns from any claims, actions, damages, liabilities, costs, or demands whatsoever arising by reason of defamation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, copyright infringement, or any other personal or property rights from or related to any use of the Materials. I understand that Company is under no obligation to use the Materials.
